Mansions and small palaces: there is an intesting number of sites showing us the stately and rural asturian architecture from the last centuries.
All over the council we find examples of this traditional architecture formed by the house, stable and "hórreo"or "panera", characteristic buildings in the rural culture, together with the floor mills. The traditional work of the shepherds during the summer through the "brañas" or the mountains led to the building of huts near watering places and fountains.
